I think the picture you chose here sums up their personalities well...a follow-up movie would be great considering how this one left me sorta sad and honestly hopeless...I'm sure Aunti Zana felt the same way at times, but we all must keep fighting for something better and sometimes that means something better for others.

i believe your most powerful sentence here was "there is a danger in that lack of knowledge." I am native american and I've heard many stories about people becoming ill or bad things happening to those who take artifacts from their natural environments...those things aren't meant to be exploited

I enjoyed your opening paragraph and thought you did a great job of designating two types of creative origins...which do you feel is more moving in artwork?

Do you find it hard to relate to the characters in Maru because of your strong frame of reference to childhood? do you consider your interactions with the book to be distant? ...im just interested to find out if people can relate when they've shared similar experiences or if they're able to just slip into the character because they find it fascinating and different...thanks
-your article is an easy read! ...(in the sense that it flows well), great work[THUMBUP][THUMBUP]

I find your last paragraph particularly interesting...as a psych major, i can only refer to psycho-analytical psychology that deals with our experiences as a child and how that affects us later in life...as I read this book, i get ALOT from it and am able to relate to Bessie very much so: due to my experiences as a child and beyond...its extremely difficult to connect with her on the SAME level, but to a certain degree, i do identify with her struggle to find frames or some sort of foundation to stand on...how do you stand strong in life when your foundation is absent?

I enjoyed the way you included the way the narrator made you felt as you read...great way to include the reader of your blog [SMILE]

I enjoyed your article very much. Perhaps Ono is so grateful to live in the past because all of the things you've mentioned are too painful altogether.[SMILE]
